Side jobs

I began by working as a cleaner on Saturday mornings at Bakery De Haas in Haps, where I had to clean the bakery from 8:00 AM until about 2:00 PM. I left this job after 8/9 months because it was difficult to combine with my football matches.

After that, I worked at the Bistro de Maasvallei, Oeffelt from May 2022 to August 2022. I had to leave the job due to financial difficulties in August 2022.

Then I started working at Van der Valk Cuijk and simultaneously at De Bankier in Cuijk. At De Bankier, I worked on dishes from August 2022 to February 2023. However, in February, I had not been scheduled for about 5 weeks, and due to some issues with the chefs, I decided to resign.

I am currently still working at Van der Valk Cuijk. I started here in August 2022 when I was just 15 years old, initially in the breakfast service. I would start at 8:00 am and finish at 12:00 every weekend. When I turned 16, I continued working in the breakfast service longer than planned, but eventually in October 2023, I was moved to the evening shift. Since January 2024, I also work in the afternoons, and from June 2024, I will also be working behind the bar.

When I switched from the breakfast service to the evening service, I worked a lot less, so I also worked for a while at Avonturenpark de Bergen in Wanroij, from December 2023 to April 2024. Ultimately, I preferred working at Van der Valk much more and resigned from the job at Avonturenpark de Bergen.

In addition to these roles, I used to babysit at various homes, but it became less feasible to continue babysitting on Friday or Saturday evenings once I started working at Van de Valk in the evenings. Therefore, I no longer babysit.
